The choices you make can either save you or destroy you

“The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them”. Exodus 15:9.

The intent of Pharaoh and his armies couldn’t be more clearer, they pursued the Israelites for one purpose only; to destroy them. But the word of God came unto Moses several times, and he did one thing and one thing only, he trusted it. That simple is the choice before us everyday. If you are not a believer in God Almighty, you made that choice. God has proven himself sovereign long before the foundations of the earth, He is the creator of the heavens and the earth, so if you look around you and see the forces of nature, yet you choose to believe the sun, moon, the clouds, mountains, rivers, seas and oceans with no ends just came into existence with a boom!, then that is a choice you have made. As the case always, there are two possible reactions to hearing God’s word; you can ignore it or you can trust it. God gave Pharaoh his word; “let my people go”, and he made a choice to ignore it, he pursued the Israelites instead of letting them leave peacefully, the choice Pharaoh made destroyed the Egyptians. In the same manner, God gave Moses his word, a commandment to stretch forth his hand at the sea, Moses trusted it, the choice Moses made saved the Israelites. Because of Moses’s choice, the Israelite passed through the sea and were saved, because of Pharaoh’s choice, the Egyptians passed through the sea and were destroyed. God’s word is not up for debate, I hope you choose wisely when it falls upon your lap, trust him today and be saved. Hallelujah!
