The Monster Has Been Tamed

The events surrounding our lives sometimes makes us forget what the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ achieved for us. The daily challenges of life makes us weary, whether it is family issues, marital, financial, mental health or whatever triggers your feelings of unfulfillment or unhappiness, in the end you have to recognise that the power in you is greater than these forces that tend to wear you down, 1 John 4:4. As you’d have already discovered by now, life is not a bed of roses, far from being a cliche, even the most affluent and highly privileged don’t get a smooth pass through life. So it is basic principle in Christian doctrine that the atonement Jesus made on our behalf through his death and resurrection is at the very heart of our ability to turn around that situation for good. When Jesus died on the cross, he tamed the monsters of our lives, he gave us the power we never had before, but power is nothing if not used, use that power of faith, positivity and prayer to wrestle down your troubles, your imagination to create the life you crave, make your dreams turn into reality, stop feeling sorry for yourself, stop moping around, you are stronger than you know, the power of God stands firmly behind you, “the law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul, the statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple” Psalm 19:7
